Gates County Farm Bureau, managed by Bobby Jones, was recognized for qualifying as Top Agency Statewide in its category for Top Life Production Premium Credit.

The recognition came at the annual meeting of the North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation, held Dec. 8-10 at the Sheraton Four Seasons and Joseph S. Koury Convention Center in Greensboro.

The conference was highlighted by the annual Presidents and Agents Luncheon, where each county’s agency force qualify their County President (Felton Outland Jr. serves in that role in Gates County). Each winning President was given a limited edition Case knife.

Special plaques were presented to the agencies whose production was superior during the contest period.
