GATES – The Gates Ruritan Club will host several fundraising events at their facility on Friday, Nov. 3.

Fried catfish plates and all the fixings, catered by Captain Bob’s, will be offered for sale from 4-7 p.m. Plates, priced at $12 each, will be available eat-in or take-out.

In addition to the meal, there will be a Bake Sale inside the club building. Also scheduled is a country ham raffle. The raffle ticket prices are $1 for one (1) ticket; $2 for three (3) tickets; and $5 for seven (7) tickets. Get tickets from any Ruritan member.

Proceeds from these fundraising events will be used to award a scholarship to a senior in high school and also to fund the various community projects.

The Gates Ruritan Club, serving its community since 1940, is located on Gates School Road adjacent to the Gates Volunteer Fire Department.
