Homecoming Queen crowned

Jetta Cameron-Paz earned the title of Homecoming Queen at Gates County High School.
Dr. Barry Williams, Superintendent of Gates County Public Schools and Assistant Superintendent Tammy Boone presented the queen with her crown and roses.
Other senior representatives on the 2018 Homecoming Court were Shaniya Bradshaw, Haven Stiles and Savannah Weeks. Representing the junior class were Ariana Matthews and Madison Weatherly.
Sophomore class representatives were Natalie Claverie and Morgan Hunter.
Representing the freshman class were Lilly Grant and Makayla Smith.
Jessica Bradshaw, the 2017 Homecoming Queen, as well as GCHS Principal Jonathan Hayes also participated in the ceremony.
