EURE, NC – Carla Lytton Etters, 70, of 012 Little Island Road, Eure, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in her home.

Mrs. Etters was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on May 13, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Wellington Lytton and Martha Ruby Deans Harrell. A homemaker, she was a member of Eure Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice King; and by a brother, Billy Worrells.

Surviving are her husband of nearly 54 years, Robert Langston Etters; two daughters, Tamila Hope Campbell and husband, Matthew, and Sandie Eve Vann and husband, Bradford; and a son, Stoney Langston Etters, all of Eure; three sisters, Martha Ann Johnson of Cherokee, Iowa, Mary Frank of Spartanburg, SC, and Margaret Lamb of Jetersville, VA; two brothers, Dennis Harrell and John Harrell, both of Eure; four grandchildren, Jenna White Lisee and husband, Justin, Ella Faith Campbell, Mckensie Eve Vann, and Brier Hughston Vann; and a great-grandson, Levi Jackson Lisee.

A graveside service was held Saturday, October 20 in the family cemetery near the home, and was conducted by her pastor, The Rev. Dr. Wayne Proctor.
